Start Sailing 2 course is for Juniors aged 13 and above including Adults of any age who have completed Start Sailing 1 and is run in Pacer Dinghy.

Simply download the Application below, complete it and send a copy to training@mordiallocsc.com.au 
The Sail Training Coordinator (Dale Collings) will always acknowledge if received, so if no acknowledgment then you need to followup with him on 0415 595 754. 

Sessions are all on Saturday mornings from 8:30 am to 11:30 am with a starting date of 4th October 2025. We have scheduled 9 sessions but only require 6 sessions to cover the criteria for this course and Instructors will issue certificates when the participantshave reached the required skill level.   

The club provides all the boats and safety equipment and experienced Qualified Instructors and Assistants.

Course Overview
This course equips participants with boat rigging knowledge and sailing skills to sail a dinghy on their own. 

Course Prerequisites

Water confident, and the skills and knowledge gained in Start Sailing 1.

Who should do this course?

This course is designed for participants who have completed Start Sailing 1 and are wanting to learn and continue to develop their fundamental sailing skills.

Course Outcome

You will gain your Start Sailing 2 completion certificate. 

 

We recognise that some of our course participants are completing the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award and may be using sailing and/or club membership to complete one or more sections of The Award. To learn more, click here.
