Saturday’s working bee is from 9am and will focus on the timber bollards and windows at the front of the club. The bollards need to be sanded back to remove their original varnish in preparation for coating with decking oil. Further stripping of windows is also required so that they can be treated with preservative and eventually primed and painted. Once the windows have been stripped the fittings will be replaced to ensure trouble free service for many years to come. We will also be tidying up around the place along with some smaller jobs in preparation for the second half of the season ahead. In summary:
- Sanding of Bollards – please bring orbital sanders/extension leads
- Stripping of Windows – materials will be provided
- Repair shed rear door
- Reattach security light in driveway
- General clean and tidy
- Fill driveway pot holes – crushed rock will be provided.
